Confidentiality

PATIENTS

Members of SAPH are required to maintain all patient records confidentially, and not release them to anyone else. Patient notes are locked up, and not destroyed for at least 7 years (adults) and up to 21 years (Children). No SAPH member may lend, give or sell patient/client lists to any other organisation. NB SAPH has no access to the patient records of its members.

WEBSITE VISITORS

We collect the e-mail address and other information volunteered by only those who communicate with us via e-mail, and may aggregate information on what pages visitors access or visit on our website.  

Except for e-mail addresses and other information volunteered by those who communicate with us, any information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded, after being used to improve the content of our web page, used to customise the content and/or layout of our page for individual visitors.
